Printed Lanyards For VIP Events
Big VIP events require special attention where security is concerned and this is where printed lanyards come into play. You can have them fully customised or it could be as simple as having the letters VIP printed on them. They can be used for basic events that perhaps have an area cordoned off for special attendees, or it could be a big gala night where certain people are allowed to enter special after-party areas. Lanyards offer a quick and simple way for people to access areas and avoid lines and queues as they can be quickly identified by security staff and given access.
The simplest style and cheapest to purchase are lanyards that are preprinted with the letters VIP. It's an easy and convenient way to supply ID cards to attendees. You can add a swipe or ID card to the end of the lanyard. The example shown has a gold print, but if you want to distinguish people within the event, you could get different colours printed for the word VIP. Perhaps some silver ones could be for general admission and the gold is for those for backstage passes or from row seating. By giving people this type of lanyard, it will make them feel important and welcomed at your event.
The next scenario is opting for different colours of lanyards to help distinguish who is allowed into certain sections. This is a good type of lanyard to do if you have a lot of areas within your event that are restricted to only certain people. Rather than having long queues waiting for security to let them pass, a quick glance is all that is needed to confirm they are in the correct area. It is also good for security staff within a particular area of the event as they can also just walk by and check what colour lanyard people have to ensure they have the authorisation to be there.
Another great way to distinguish VIPs is by giving them an entirely unique lanyard compared to the rest of the guests. Take for example a movie premier. For the more important VIP guests, perhaps get a full-colour lanyard printed with snapshots or scenes from the movie. They are very eye-catching and also help with any publicity photos that may be taken. They also make for a terrific souvenir or it is something you can market afterwards to sell to the public. You could have different coloured scenes printed for different levels of VIP people. They look cool and will grab people's attention as they walk up the red carpet for the premier. Imagine them stopping to talk for a T.V interview or stopping to get their pictures taken and the lanyard also features in the shot. It's a great way to get brand reinforcement and it also becomes a souvenir piece that everyone will want.
